netinsight SSC is a shared service management platform which has been designed to be completely modular and adaptable to any usage scenario.

netinsight SSC therefore covers the whole process. Starting with planning, to calculation, contract and SLA management with customers and suppliers, service catalog management and cost allocation through to online service procurement and reporting for internal management and customers. With netinsight SSC you can achieve cost transparency in your shared service center in order to be able to control and proactively manage your products and services efficiently and according to operational criteria; at the same time you can significantly reduce the amount of time and expense required.

Traceability from planning through to service calculation

With netinsight SSC you can plan and strategically manage your costs and budgets. Using the modules Web Planner and Financial Controlling, our solution has planning and service calculations capabilities. By integrating the available data and objects in the platform, e.g. accounting data, contract management data for customers and suppliers as well as master data and transaction data from linked solutions, all the information you need for your service calculation and target-actual comparisons during the course of the year are always current and available from one central point at the touch of a button. Execution costs are therefore kept to a minimum, and everything is historicised and filed in a auditable manner.

Another highlight of the system is that by using the web planning module you can inquire about planned figures, budgets and quantities purchased for each part of your internal cost centres or for each customer. This is done automatically and is completely directed by workflow; you can then include these figures directly into your calculations. The user only needs a standard web browser to do this. The manual time and expense for the preparation and consolidation of data as well as potential source of errors, e.g. Excel-based planning and calculations, are therefore avoided from the very start.

Who? How? Where? What? – contract and SLA management

netinsight SSC is equipped with highly efficient contract and SLA management capabilities. You can use these to see which of your customers receive which services, with which conditions and calibre of service, and with which suppliers you yourself maintain contracts. Contracts can also be compared to one another and used as a data source for costs and revenue in your planning and calculations, as well as for invoicing and administration purposes. To do this netinsight SSC monitors all relevant deadlines for you, enables documents and templates to be saved directly into the contract, and naturally also shows any contract conditions that change in the course of the contract.

All contract types, whether it’s a leasing, license, project or provision of services contract, with or without purchasing of assets, can be administered centrally in this solution, historicised and stored in an auditable manner.

Translating process into the shared service – thanks to service lifecycle

Instead of technical, individual components, modern shared service center organisations deliver business process oriented standard services which are based on defined qualities, availabilities and benchmarks, and at transparent prices. Your customers can adjust such a shared service to their specific needs by selecting variations and options. Our netinsight SSC solution supports your planning and design as well as the calculation and cost allocation of modern business process oriented shared services using integrated service lifecycle functions.

In netinsight SSC, shared services can be modelled hierarchically using drag & drop of reusable modules as well as individual components. Optional service components as well as variations (either of a complete services or of just one component) can be put together simply and intuitively using the graphic designer. We have also thought about multilingual, integrated service documentation for you. Here the same is true as before: all service catalogs that are created are centrally administrated, historicised and saved in an auditable manner.

If you’re looking to bill services in a way which is fair to the user, individual and highly flexible, and which conforms to regulations both across countries and currencies, then netinsight SSC is your instrument of choice. Using the cost allocation module the solution can receive  high volumes of transactions in a very short time from your operative systems, company-wide language and data networks, or other solutions, e.g. asset management systems, integrate them into the cost allocation process and accurately invoice them onto the appropriate customer or cost centre in the company. The mechanisms used here are highly flexible, starting with a high-speed rating engine, to highly individual pricing models, to customer and user-specific real-time billing processes. Gain insights – reporting and analysis

Your management demands transparency, as do your customers. Both would like to understand as precisely as possible which costs are applicable to which services and which cost components are included in the price. In netinsight SSC’s central integrated finance solution all required information is available in the most up to date version, similar to a data warehouse. Our reporting and analysis module is a fully-equipped, fully-fledged business intelligence solution. You can use it to retrieve web-based customised reports using current data from authorised people in real-time, or create and publish totally new reports and ad hoc requests and analyses. Reports can be updated at selected times and automatically e-mailed in a given file format (Adobe PDF, Microsoft Excel,..). In short, it offers the highest level of flexibility with the aim of creating the most transparency for management and customers.
